In Art 4 Q1, I was assigned a home project and an in-school project. Doing these projects has helped me find direction and themes in my work.
Project 1: Cottagecore costume
This project was inspired by my interest in cottage core/fairycore aesthetics and helped me discover an interest in jewelry making and costume making.
For this project, I decided on making a necklace, dress, bag, and flower crown as the elements of this costume.
Project 2:
For my second project, I decided to continue with something I tried in art 3 that I really enjoyed, non-objective paintings. I made paintings from acrylic paint and a variety of canvas shapes, exploring with contrasting bright color schemes and nature aspects (aka the red marks on the green painting that have often been interpreted as birds or fish by viewers.
